Summary: Close to Black Rock Canyon. Convenient location within walking distance of several restaurants. We were in a second, separate building also housing the pool area. It did not require key entry into the building. While at breakfast another guest asked to have the waffle batter replenished and was told it takes too long to make it.

Summary: Close to black canyon of the gunnison national park. Good breakfast, good service and clean.the AC in the unit had a noise when running but we were still able to sleep.

Summary: The hotel was older, which lead to an unclean feeling in a few major areas; carpet, couch was full of trash under cushions, space behind tables were dirty with trash, bad odor in room. We made it work for the one night, because the area that made the biggest impact for our family were the beds. They were clean. We were able to open the windows and air out the room for a while before sleeping. This helped the odor. The hot tub was cold and had a horrible odor to it. The pool was cold, but my kids did play in it for a short while with no complaint in the warm weather.

Summary: The problems started with check-in. Charging $20 if you arrive before the 4:00 check in time is just crazy. No one was there to check-in in, we'd driven 7 hours and were tired, this just seems wrong. You have the worst pillows that we've slept on in I don't know how long. The hotel is old and could really use a face lift. Not what we expect from Best Western.

Summary: This was also a simple hotel, the staff was very nice and accommodating in every way. We booked a room with three beds and a couch and it was perfect for our family of five. It’s not a fancy hotel or anything, but it was clean, the breakfast was decent and we felt like the staff cared. The pool and hot tub are pretty basic, but our kids loved going in. It’s a great spot if you’re going into the Black Canyon of the Gunnison, and it’s also relatively close to a bunch of businesses if you need to stock up. A great stop over on our Colorado road trip.

Summary: For the most part the guy that checked us in was super nice and told us about so cool things in the area. The beds were pretty comfortable but honestly this place and the rooms were pretty outdated and ran down. I paid like $150 a night and I do not think it was worth that much at all. The shower curtain didn’t look like it had been changed in awhile because the bottom corner where the magnet it, it was all black and moldy so that just makes you think if the sheets were changed at all. Another thing I didn’t like was that there was no vanity, just a sink so you couldn’t set anything down on it to do your hair or makeup. The breakfast was really good for how run down the hotel was. We did not use the pool or hot tub but they said it was shared and you had to walk through the parking lot to get to it so it’s not actually on property.

Summary: The first room we were put in had not been cleaned. However Patrick was quick to get us moved to another room and very apologetic. The hotel is dated and the a/c unit was quite noisy ( I don't mind because I need white noise to sleep). Overall the room was ok. The next morning we had kids running like animals above us so couldn't sleep and the dog across the hallway barking. (If you're traveling with either you need to keep them under control!) Was very satisfied with the customer service and friendly staff at front desk
